Members of the Arizona Billiards Hall of Fame placed their votes and these were the two players who earned their place in the Hall of Fame.
Tom DiLorenzo has been on both sides of the game during his long and illustrious career. He was a top pool player in the state from the late 70’s until the mid 2000’s. DiLorenzo won multiple Arizona State Titles in both singles and partners. He was also a room owner, opening Tommy’s Billiards in 1989, where he held many amateur & pro events and attracted all of the top players to town.
Joining DiLorenzo this year is Dennis Orender. Orender is someone else who has played multiple roles in the sport.
He was also a multi time Arizona State Champion, and captained numerous teams at the BCA Championships in Vegas. He also ran the Arizona Desert Classic Tour from 2008 until 2015.
DiLorenzo and Orender were inducted in October of 2024, at the Hall of Fame Dinner at Bullshooters in Phoenix.
